‘Future Champion’: Golf Fans Left in Awe of Sergio Garcia’s 5-Year-Old Daughter’s ‘Awesome’ Golf Swing

Every athlete wants their children to become even better players than themselves. This is why it is important to start them young as it allows them to hold command of the sports easily.

And Sergio Garcia, is a proud papa bear as he teaches his young daughter what he loves to do the best, i.e. play golf. In the latest update shared by Garcia on Instagram, he is teaching golf to his daughter and fans are loving the game session of father and daughter.

Besides golf, Sergio Garcia holds immense love for his family. Garcia has been married to Angela Atkins since 2017. The couple have two children, a daughter Azalea, born in 2018 and named after the famed flowers of Augusta at the 13 hole, and a son Enzo born in 2020. Garcia is very active on social media and always shares the precious moments spent with his family with his fans. And in the latest video shared by Garcia, he is seen teaching the basics of golf to his daughter. 

In the caption, he wrote “Your turn Aza”. The duo can be seen on a golf course with Azalea holding a small club tightly in her hands.

In the adorable video, Garcia is explaining the basics of how to take a stance on the course to his 5-year-old Azalea or Aza as he calls her with love. “Feet farther apart”, he says and steps back. While Azalea tries to make a shot. Her first attempt went blank but the second time she makes a hit and sent the ball flying. Her mother Angela, who is behind the camera, praises her for doing a good job. And fans are also loving this cute snippet.

After Garcia shared the video fans were quick to applaud Azalea and commended her for her young golfing skills. On the game front, Garcia missed the Open Championship last week for the first time in 25 years since 1997 after he failed to qualify for the event. While competing for the remaining spots, Garcia missed it by three shots. Anyway, one can say he made up for it, having spent some quality time with her daughter.
