If Europe wins this time, they will keep the trophy consecutively for the third time. And amid the Open Championship, as Brian Harman took the title home, he got the endorsement from Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson. Twitter has been buzzing about Michael Block’s win since last week. His holin out in the par-5 at the warm-up match with the rapper and the score of 48 at the main event gained much attention. And now, another update about Blockie is making the rounds. The PGA of America posted from its official handle, “Just a couple of legends. Michael Block, PGA, & The Ryder Cup Tropy.”

Blockie made headlines this year when he finished T-15 at the PGA Championship. However, there is no news of his association with the Ryder Cup. And the golf world is curious about this duo in the picture, the golfer and the trophy.

Is Michael Block the future Ryder Cup captain?

Michael Block can be seen smiling at someone in the picture, his hands inches away from the cup. Many golf enthusiasts have chimed in about the situation, and fans are in splits. Let’s have a look! One fan tried to guess the reason for the picture, saying, “Future Captain.”

Another demanded Blockie’s appearance on the Ryder Cup squad.

As a reference to his win alongside DJ Khaled, one of them guessed it was a party.

One fan wrote, “He should be a lock for the Ryder Cup. If he isn’t, I mean what are we doing here?”

Other tweets had mixed reactions.
