The fatal accident of a golf cart driver

A golf cart may seem like a safe, fun, and easy way to get around, but it has also brought about several disastrous accidents. The lack of safety measures in the vehicle including no doors and windows places it quite high in the risk spectrum. That’s what happened on Holly Springs Road in South Carolina.

A golf cart was crashed by a Nissan sedan just last month, while attempting to make a left turn. The crash was lethal as the driver of the golf cart was pronounced dead a couple of days later. The Nissan driver didn’t suffer any injuries due to the accident and no charges were filed against him.

Golf carts are definitely not safe when it comes to the increasing number of incidents reported regarding accidents. Many states like Rhode Island, Maryland, Missouri, Delaware, and Hawaii have laws against allowing golf carts to traverse public thoroughfares. But the laws still need to be more defined in the other states as well. What do you think of the young golfer’s sudden death? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
