As Valentine’s Day has drawn to an end, many may have finished the romantic day single around the world. Fortunately for professional golfers, many celebrated the day with their better halves. From Brooks Koepka to Lydia Ko, let’s take a look at how the golf world enjoyed the prominent day alongside their close ones.

Some golfers have always been open about their relationships. Though the unmarried golfers didn’t disclose much about their Valentine’s Day celebration, the golfers with their wedding rings didn’t shy away from sharing feelings about their spouses.

Brooks Koepka and other stars embrace Valentine’s Day

While the world is eagerly waiting for the second season of LIV Golf, the defectors have taken a break from their preparations to enjoy Valentine’s Day. Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jenna Sims, shared an Instagram story of a bouquet of red roses, sent by the 4-time Major winner. The gift was identical to her heart-themed dress, while she also sported a necklace with ‘BROOKS’ written on it.

Similar to Mrs. Koepka, Dustin Johnson’s wife Paulina Gretzky, also shared a snap of red roses on her Instagram story while tagging her hubby. She added a heart emoji next to the DJ’s name. Kevin Na too posted a selfie with his wife on his Instagram story. While other LIV Golf stars were enjoying the romantic day with their wives, Bryson DeChambeau’s Valentine’s Day was unique in its own way.

The 2020 US Open winner celebrated the February 14th with his dog, Bear, sparking rumors of him being single. As the lucrative Tour stars enjoyed the day in their own way, LPGA stars too had a romantic evening with their beaus. Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam shared a post of herself kissing her husband of 14 years, Mike Mcgee.

Following her retirement from golf in 2022, Michelle Wie West has found plenty of time for herself and her husband Jonnie West. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the retired golfer made homemade chocolate-coated strawberries for her better half.

World number one, Lydia Ko, who got married two months ago, celebrated her first Valentine’s Day as Mrs. Chung. She posted a picture of her husband on her Instagram story, wishing him a ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’. While many charmingly enjoyed February 14th, no one celebrated it more unusual than Sergio Garcia.

With less than two weeks left for the first tee shot at Mayakoba, Garcia has taken a day off from the sport to spend some romantic time with his wife Angela Akins. The couple enjoyed the big occasion unlike any other.

In a video shared by the Spanish golfer on Instagram, he is seen throwing grapes from different instances at his wife. However, Mrs. Garcia manages to grasp all without the requirement of her hands. “I might be a professional golfer, but my wife Angela is a professional grape catcher and my forever Valentine”, Sergio Garcia wrote in the caption.
