2023 is definitely the year of Celine Boutier. Accomplishing what she has done in the last six months is not an easy task at all. Boutier opened the streak this year at the LPGA Drive On Championship early in the month of March. She had a play-off with Georgia Hall that she won with a birdie on the first extra hole. Then the week before last she claimed a historic win at the Evian Championship, which is also her first major.

And on Sunday, she won the Women’s Scottish Open which marks her third win for this year and overall fifth win on the tour. And now she is prepping for another major, the AIG Women’s Open this week. After her big win yesterday, at the press conference, Celine was questioned about how the March win had changed her perspective on what she could accomplish.

Boutier answered: “Definitely getting the win in the end of March in Arizona was definitely huge for me.” She explained that she had been waiting a long time for the win and even came close in the last two years but couldn’t make it. But this time it finally happened early in the season and it helped her stay calm.
