Despite having a long season start in 2024, Fleetwood didn’t leave the opportunity to support Oscar Craig on his debut. Fleetwood helped Craig as a caddie, which resulted in him scoring 2 under par at the Challenge Tour. Fleetwood-Craig then went on to make the cut for the first time, which was praised by the fans.
The Challenge Tour even congratulated the duo with a social media post, and fans even joined in to praise the English professional’s efforts for his stepson. Fans were seen commenting, “Who can hate Tommy!!🔥,” even another wrote, “I mean seriously how top draw is that, fella, and fair play Tommy u absolute legend 👏🏼 👍🏼.”
Fleetwood’s humble nature at the course
There is not one incident where fans have seen the great nature of Tommy Fleetwood, and for the same, the PGA Tour also shared a few moments on Instagram wishing him on his birthday. One incident that was shared was when a young fan offered the golfer a snack when he was walking for his next shot. And not surprisingly, Fleetwood kept the heart of the fan and ate that snack. He gave the fan a thumbs-up in thanks.

Another incident that has blown the golf world with joy and sweetness was the 34-year-old’s gesture to another young fan. While approaching for his next shot, the golfer saw a fan asking for a high-five, for which he instead hugged him. The sweet gestures with the fans will always be remembered.
Neutral votes for the leagues
While most of the golf world is divided into leagues, Fleetwood being a PGA Tour player has taken a neutral side. Back in February, the PGA professional attended LIV’s Las Vegas event as a spectator. He shared that there are many friends of his, even his trainer, who is now associated with LIV, so he went in.

He shared, “I didn’t want to feel like I couldn’t go just because people would say things. I think it came across that I just wanted to go and see friends and that really was the main thing. It was nice to see a lot of people.” Fans love the gesture of him being neutral and looking at LIV as another golf league without judgment.
Eddie Pepperell’s memory of the fellow golfer
Pepperell and Fleetwood played together as a team at Paul Shields and David Law. Sharing about the memory, Pepperell shared about Fleetwood as per the National Club Golfer’s report. He said, “He would be the on-course leader in a team as he has good energy and is a team player and has fun, he never really judges anyone and you get that impression when you play with him which is great.”

Further sharing, Pepperell added that he never felt threatened by him as a competitor as well, which he pointed out as a nice characteristic to have.
