The former world number one, Dustin Johnson, has moved to the LIV Golf Invitational Series. Moreover, he is facing suspension from the PGA Tour and hasn’t competed here since May 2022. His last event on the PGA Tour was the AT&T Byron Nelson, as immediately after this, he joined the Greg Norman-led LIV Golf.
However, the LIV Golf Invitational Series is yet to receive approval from the OWGR. Hence, their field does not include any OWGR points other golfers receive while playing professional golf. Therefore, this has hampered his world golf ranking as Dustin dropped to his lowest ranking in the last seven years.
