Although Woods is not on the same side as Trump with LIV Golf, the ex-President still claims to have huge respect for the golfer.

The answer is Great!… Tiger is back & will be winning Majors again!”

Woods has had a good relationship with Donald Trump in the past. The ex-POTUS once honored the golf legend by naming a villa after him. Woods went to Doral, Miami to inaugurate the villa when Trump called him over. After the inauguration, Trump said, “I have to say, on behalf of the Trump family it’s my honor to name this the Tiger Woods Villa.”

Why did Woods not join the LIV Golf league?

Tiger Woods has been loyal to the PGA Tour since the beginning of his career. The golfer is one of the major reasons that the tour is even functional today. Many players who stayed back on the PGA Tour are Woods’ friends and value his say about golf-related matters.

After multiple players joined the LIV golf league, Woods showed his disappointment regarding their decision. He said that the players had “turned their back” on the PGA Tour.
