Former POTUS Donald Trump Had an Inspiring Message for Tiger Woods After His Car Crash: ‘Get Better and Get Out There’

Tiger Woods met with a terrible accident on the 23rd of February 2021. Although the GOAT survived the accident, the severe injuries caused him to take a big break from golf. The event had put all the golf world in misery. And the former president of the United state felt no better. 

“I have no doubt about it. He’s going to be back,” Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox. As a die-hard fan of the sport, the former American President was heartbroken because of the news. 

Trump explained that he knew the golfer both professionally and personally. He added, “As a golfer, he’s just incredible. He’s an incredible guy.” He further stated that the sport and the fans need Tiger to return to the course as nobody can make an impact as much as him. 

The former POTUS added, “All I’d say to him is get better and get out there because we all miss him. We need Tiger.”

The fateful accident involving Woods happened right after the 2021 Genesis Invitational. The 15-times major champion was severely injured because of it. Since the event, Woods has never attended an official tournament, although it has been a year.

Relationship between Donald Trump and Tiger Woods

Tiger and Jack Nicklaus had played golf with Trump on his Trump National Jupiter in Florida. The then President himself had tweeted the picture of the three on the course.

However, it was not the first time the GOAT had played golf with an American President; He has played with Obama, Bill Clinton, and George H.W. Bush.

Apart from his friendship with him, Tiger is in business with Trump. The TGR Designs, Tiger’s golf course design company, is currently designing Trump’s golf course in Dubai. It would be Trump’s second golf course in Dubai after the Trump International Golf Club.

The POTUS had also honored Tiger with the Presidential Medal of Freedom soon after his win at the 2019 Masters. The then-President called the GOAT ‘the global symbol of American excellence, devotion, and drive’ at the medal ceremony.

Donal Trump is an avid golf lover. As an admirer, friend, and business partner, Trump has nothing but praises for the GOAT. Like many fans, Trump also believes that Tiger would make a comeback.
