However, this Australian professional golfer has his own reasons for missing out on one of the biggest tournaments this year. And it’s none other than Adam Scott.
As per sources, Adam Scott has confirmed that he will be missing the 2023 WM Phoenix Open. The tournament is going to be extra special this year as it will commence in the same week and at the same place as the Super Bowl. However, it is being said that Scott has his own ‘embarrassing reason’ for missing the tournament.

After shooting four rounds in the 60s, Scott was able to wrap up the Sony Open finishing among the top 25. And after spending around 2 weeks in Hawaii, the golf star plans to take a little break and will relax back at home. The golfer will now be returning directly at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club on Feb. 16-19.
This implies that the player will not be present for participating in the WM Phoenix Open. And to give an explanation for missing out, Scott said, “Well, I don’t have a good reason for you. The embarrassing reason is I actually thought it went Phoenix, Pebble, LA, so I didn’t even consider it from the beginning,”.
