England’s golfers unite to celebrate historic Women football achievement

The British golf world has united in support of their national football team and their incredible achievement. Today England’s football team, nicknamed ?the Lionesses,? have reached the Women’s World Cup Final for the first time after they defeated their co-host Australia in Sydney.
England is heading to the final for the first time and its golf players are just as thrilled for their country’s giant success. Prominent golfers congratulated the Lionesses on social media. LIV defector Ian Poulter posted a video of himself from a golf course in his stories. In it, he said, ?Come on England’s. Three wins. Let’s go Lionesses. Love your work. In the final Let’s Go.”
Next in the line to congratulate his country’s team is Justin Rose. Rose shared the Instagram post of the Lionesses where they announced moving into the final round. They wrote “IT?S ALL OVER! WE?RE HEADING TO OUR FIRST WORLD CUP FINAL!! ???”
Other than Justin Rose and Ian Poulter, PGA Tour’s Tommy Fleetwood also shared the same image in his stories and wrote a special side note “World Cup Final here we come. You are inspiring a nation”.

Lionesses‘ big victory and Justin Rose’s support for them
England’s Lionesses went head-to-head with Australian team Matilda, in Sydney today. It was a 90 mins showdown where team England remained heavy despite Australia’s best efforts. Speaking on their achievement England team manager Sarah Wiegman said, “The finish was really good too. I’m really happy with the performance and the players themselves are happy too.” However Justin Rose was continuing his support to the team prior to the game. Before the event began he posted his best wishes for the team in his stories.
Now England will be facing Spain’s team which has already made it to the finals. The final showdown will be held on Sunday, 20th August. No doubt the golf world will be full of support for their colleagues to bag a sensational win.
