‘Football>’: Justin Thomas, Paige Spiranac, Max Homa, and Other Golfers React to Wild NFL Sunday

Unless you were watching the Sunday NFL playoffs, the outburst on Twitter by the golfers is bound to have left you confused. Paige Spiranac, Max Homa, Justin Thomas, and many others were active all night, sharing their commentary and thoughts for everyone to see as Tom Brady’s Bucs were knocked out of the NFL playoffs.

Making for a sensational match, the Los Angeles Rams knocked out reigning Super Bowl Champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of contention. In a fascinating game, the Bucs pulled up from 27-3 to tie at an insane score of 27. Unfortunately for them, however, Matt Gay shot in a 30-yard field goal in the nick of time to lead to an uproar of celebration amongst the Rams.

This loss effectively put an end to Brady’s chances of adding an eighth title to his massive record. Sometime later, he said, “We were down a bunch and a lot of guys made a bunch of different plays to get us back into it. They just made one more than us.”

In other action, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in an epic victory, again keeping everyone on their toes till the very end with a score of 42-36. The Tennessee Titans sent the Cincinnati Bengals packing home with a score of 16-19 while the San Francisco 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers 13-10.

The level of excitement on Twitter was sky high, so much so that one could’ve easily been fooled that the Super Bowl was in action. Lee Westwood revealed his raw feelings by writing, “I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to not get a good nights sleep!!! @NFL Ridiculous games!”

Moreover, ESPN senior insider Adam Schefter gave us an interesting fact when he revealed, “All four Divisional Playoff games this weekend ended on the last play.”
