The opening round of the inaugural FM Championship took place on Thursday. Marina Alex, the 34-year-old American professional, carded a completely bogey-free round and finished with a 4-under 68, leading by one stroke. Eight players are right behind her with a 3-under score, which could change the dynamics of the game in any round.
Among them are U.S. Team golfers Allisen Corpuz and Lauren Coughlin, who will be playing for the Solheim Team in two weeks. The second round on Friday will be an interesting sight to witness at TPC Boston.

The second round of the 2024 FM Championship is scheduled to take place on August 30. The field will be opened by six players from the front nine and six players from the back nine, making it all the more interesting. The first group, barring any delays due to weather conditions, will begin at 7:15 a.m. ET, while the last group will begin at 2:16 p.m.
There will be a gap of eleven minutes between each team. Here is how the final field for the Friday round will look at TPC Boston:
