Jon Rahm broke the course record during the third round of the Mexico Open

On the 18th tee, Rahm had the opportunity to achieve a score of 59. Unfortunately, his drive landed in a fairway bunker with a plugged lie, resulting in him having to pitch out and settling for par. Additionally, Rahm missed birdie opportunities on holes 15 and 16 from distances of 12 feet and 6 feet, respectively. Rahm acknowledged that he misread the putt on the 15th hole and wishes he could have another chance at the 16th hole.

His performance during the third round in Mexico was also the first time he had ever made over 100 feet of putts in a single PGA Tour round. He totaled 156 feet and four inches on Saturday.
