American rapper finds childhood fan in Max Homa; Morikawa can’t conform

Max Homa’s ardent love for music is not new to anyone. Though, the unanticipated meeting with a professional musician seems to have caught the golf star completely off-guard. In a recent Instagram post of the PGA Tour and the Tour Championship, a photo and video of a trio got featured that nobody visioned to see together.

Max Homa and Collin Morikawa could be seen posing with the American Rapper Jeezy. While the first slide consisting of the picture, showed them in their full-blown smiles, it was the clip on the next slide that gave a detailed insight into their meeting. The 32-year-old golfer could be seen being fully awe-struck at the moment along with recalling his previous in-person view of another music star, saying, “First Taylor Swift, then Jeezy.”

The unexpected event even drew out a funny response from the golfer, where he commented about this surely not being on his bingo card this year. Jeezy could be witnessed coming up to the two golf stars in an extremely polite and respectful manner. Just after greeting them, he revealed that he had been informed that there were “three PGA Tour guys” present there.

The conversation seemed to be extremely pleasant and allowed a chance for Homa to meet a singer he had been listening to for so long. The 26-year-old American golfer, though, had an exact opposite reaction to the situation. Rather humorously, Morikawa revealed that he had actually looked up the American music icon just 3 hours prior to their talk.

As a slight consolation, he quickly added, “I know a few of his songs, but still.” Even as the Producer asks them about a go-to Jeezy song, the fan inside the 6-time PGA Tour winner is quick to answer “Put on”, calling it a classic. Once again the 2022 PGA Championship victor seemed clueless, drawing a laugh from everyone around.

Admiration for the song choice of Homa also pored in immensely with, “Put On, great call,” “I putttt onnnnnn.” As per the norm, humor could hardly stray away from the comments section. Fans filled in their takes by commenting, “This interaction tells me that Collin was sitting front row in class while Max was chillin’ in the back,” “We gotta work on the daps fellas,” and “Missed the opportunity to say “Putt on”.”
