Fellow PGA Tour Pro’s Wife Equals Rory McIlroy’s Glorious Record, Creating Waves of Excitement Among the Netizens- “That Is So Epic!”

Where Travelers Championship proved to be a phenomenal tournament for Keegan Bradley, it wasn’t that great for another PGA Tour star. The 36-year-old has won seven times on the PGA Tour but his game last week failed to do justice to his skills. Not only did he fall prey to the greens in Connecticut as he conceded numerous bogeys, but he also failed to make the cut for this PGA Tour event.

However, the blessing in this disguise was that he was able to spend Sunday with his wife. The couple found the best way to enjoy their weekend by engaging in the game of golf. Even more astonishing was a particular shot delivered by the golfer’s partner!

While William ‘Billy’ Horschel could not execute his plans well in the Travelers Championship, his wife had no problem accomplishing hers. As per the latest Instagram post, the golf star and his partner Brittany Horschel, played golf together at the Country Club of Fairfield. He expressed how much they enjoyed the Seth Raynor-designed course.

But, the most dominant part of this get-together was the performance of Brittany Horschel on the 9th hole. The golfer’s wife brilliantly struck the golf ball and made a hole-in-one. It was a 4-hybrid from 190, which in itself was beyond phenomenal. As we got to know from the video, this was Brittany’s second hole-in-one.

She looked quite happy as she confirmed that she had indeed accomplished the ace. Husband Billy Horschel, also cheered his wife for her accomplishment. According to Golf Digest, the golfer’s wife has played college level golf at the University of Florida. Additionally, her skills on the links might prove that she has continued her practice and has not completely given up on the sport.

Interestingly, Brittany was not the only individual to ace her game last week. Another star golfer was able to celebrate this iconic feat. It was none other than Rory McIlroy! This was one of the feats missing from his list of laurels and on last Thursday, the Northern Irish golfer even achieved that. The ace came McIlroy’s way when he swung his 5-iron on the eighth hole of the 214-yard field.

As soon as the video was up, many users flocked to the comments section to applaud Brittany’s skills. One comment, in particular, was from LPGA Tour professional, Morgan Pressel. She seemed impressed by Mrs. Horschel and said, “Nice shot“.

Other golf enthusiasts also couldn’t believe how exceptional the achievement was. They said:

“4 hybrid from 190? Did she play competitively?”

“Unbelievable! Epic that y’all were together for it.”

“What?! That’s awesome!!! Well done hun!”

“That is so epic! Congrats.”

One fan believed that the emotions that follow this accomplishment must be out of this world. The user commented, “Best feeling ever !! Congrats to her….”

A couple of other viewers light-heartedly made cheeky comments on the PGA Tour pro. They said, “Brittany showing up on Billy. Atta girl”  and, “Drinks are on you / Billy!” Following the warm welcome the couple received at the Country Club, a fan said, “So glad you enjoyed my home course. Come back any time. Well done from that tee box. 👏👏👏Impressive.”
