Luke List is the latest professional to win in the 2022 PGA Tour season. Surprisingly, the American won for the first time on the PGA Tour. Luke turned professional back in 2007.
However, the thing sweeter than his win was his family was there to celebrate it with him.

“Go Daddy,” says Luke Lists daughter
The 2022 Farmers Insurance Open had yet another nail-biting finish to its final round. The event was played as a part of the PGA Tour early season, ” West Coast Swing”. The field included some of the biggest names in the sport of golf including the current World Number One Jon Rahm, who was in contention heading into the final round. Rahm finished the tournament with an overall score of 14 under par at tied third position.
The 37-year-old had a quick start to the front nine with four consecutive birdies from the third to the sixth hole and made the turn in 32. Luke made three birdies and only one bogey in the back nine and booked his place in a playoff with Will Zalatoris.

List emerged as a winner in the epic two men playoff with a beautiful approach shot and sunk his putt. As soon as Will missed his put to extend the playoff, Luke ran to his family. His wife Chloe, daughter, and son were present there and gave him a warm hug after his win. The family also clicked a few pictures and Luke’s sweet daughter was seen saying, ” Go Daddy”.

List spoke to the media after his win. He said, “She’s been telling me for a long time, ‘Daddy, I want a trophy,”. And I finally got one.

He added, ”I really believed I could win on this course, and it’s just amazing that that came true,”. “I told myself if I was in a playoff, I was going to make birdie.”
How much did Luke List win this week?
The 37-year-old professional got his first win at the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open. As a result, becoming the fourth winner of the 2022 season. List won prize money worth $1,512,000.
