What’s your perspective on:
Is the LIV vs. PGA Tour match the spark golf needs to reignite its fanbase?
Have an interesting take?
“Oh yes!”, wrote one fan while the other said, “We’ve been begging for this 🙌🏼”. See now, while fans did want the LIV Golfers to be part of the Ryder Cup team, it wasn’t official for them to join the tournament until this year when the PGA of America announced that LIV Golf players are indeed eligible to compete in both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Ryder Cup teams going forward. This decision clears the way for LIV golfers like reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau to join the U.S. team, and it’s consistent with the past two years, where LIV Golf players have competed in the PGA Championship.
