Almost all sports are played outside in the scorching heat, and it really affects the players’ health. Golf is that one sport that starts early at dawn, and almost stretches till dusk, leaving the golfers prone to sun for the whole day while they are on the course. If there is one thing that helps the golfers stay on top of the heat is staying hydrated throughout the day! But golf as a sport does not have an official beverage that golfers have on the course to quench their thirst.

Though a few renowned names of the golf fraternity such as Paige Spiranac and John Daly are associated with the beverage brands Garage Beer, and Good Boy Vodka, none of these are officially associated with the sport. Recently a discussion about the sport’s official drink made its way into the fans’ brains, and they had their suggestions to share!

Paige Spiranac recently partnered with Ohio-based beer brand, Garage Beer. She announced her endorsement with the brand around 3 months ago and also announced an interesting competition to popularize the brand. She recently met with the contest’s winner and also posed with the carats of Garage Beer.

Daly is also a part of Good Boy Vodka and recently credited the beverage as a secret weapon of his legendary game. Though golfers represent quite a few beverages, none of these sit very right with the fans to beat the heat on the course.

On Reddit, in a discussion titled Official Golf Beverage, a fan or an avid golfer shared that they love alcohol as much as anyone else but it is Gatorade that is “a stroke saver in the heat at the tail end of a round.” They asked fellow golfers about the number of rounds after which they usually realize that they should keep a couple of chilled Gatorades in their golf bags.
