Hence, no one questioned the fact that popular game development brand 2k Games decided to choose Tiger Woods as the man on the poster of their golf game.

For years, Woods was on the cover of the PGA Tour game before others also joined the lineup. But now, Woods, who was also the face of PGA Tour 2K23; has returned to the cover as per the announcement made by an insider.

@PGATOUR2K shared a poster of the cover on their X handle with the caption, “Golfer. Icon. Legend. @TigerWoods graces the cover of #PGATOUR2K25’s Legend Edition.”, confirming that the 82x PGA Tour winner is the face of the game once again.

This got a response from Max Homa as well. Woods’s Jupiter Links GC teammate reshared the tweet saying, “Looking good. What about his TGL teammate? 👀,” possibly poking fun at 2K Games. However, it won’t be the worst idea to have Max Homa on the cover of the next PGA Tour game. Fortunately, his wish came through as just moments later, @NUCLRGOLF also shared another poster of the game which features the GOAT, Max Homa, and Matt Fitzpatrick on 2 other editions of the game.

OMG I am so buying this,” confirming that they will purchase the game once it releases. @MameronCaxwell had similar emotions to share as they said “Hell yes. Can’t wait till they let you guys make a football game again. Fuck EA sports,” while also sharing their frustration towards the competitors of 2K Games, EA Sports.
