The RBC Heritage event is going on in full swing at Harbour Town Golf Links. Fans and players have been enjoying the event. But we guess RBC Heritage comes in with a lot of surprises. Recently. A totally unexpected surprise shocked the fans and players alike, and the shock was good! 

Boeing Dreamliner does a flyover at Harbour Town during RBC Heritage

Fans went to see golfers play on Saturday but they enjoyed one more amazing sight! It came as a surprise to the fans when a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner worth $338.4 Million flew over the 18th Fairway at Harbour Town during the RBC Heritage, a designated PGA event.

It happened during the third round on Saturday when a CBS camera zoomed in on a large aircraft making its way to the Harbour Town. As the plan got closer, it turned out to be a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner owned by EVA Air, a Taipei-based airline that operates in 60 destinations in Asia, Europe, and North America. Both fans and players were taken aback by this pleasant surprise and paused to look up into the air

EVA Air’s captains Klas Ohman and Ryan Murphy flew the aircraft on Saturday along with flight test engineer Courtney Buley.

Is there a partnership between EVA Air and RBC Heritage?

The partnership between the two has been in existence for about 12 years now. EVA Air has been a proud presenting partner of the RBC Heritage for 12 years. The official name of the designated PGA event is RBC Heritage presented by EVA Air.

According to Yahoo.com, the 787-10 Dreamliner is as long as 224 feet and it can carry up to 336 passengers. The wingspan of the aircraft is 197 feet. EVA Air has 11 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners in its fleet and has ordered five more, taking the total number of 787-10 Dreamliner to 16. Boeing’s 787 family of aircraft is assembled exclusively in North Charleston, South Carolina.
