Paige Spiranac's fight against scams—Is she doing enough to protect her image and fans?

There’s only one Paige Spiranac in real life. But that doesn’t seem to be the case when it comes to social media or other such platforms. Of course, many of them are not handled by the diva herself. For she had once said“Just report and block if it’s not from my verified account.” However, some of her followers still do not seem to understand how she doesn’t have anything to do with those handles.

“Is it true that you are part of the money scam in your name?” asked a follower on a Q&A session that the 31-year-old shared as part of her Instagram story. It was quite a serious accusation of sorts, but it was swiftly countered by Spiranac, who vehemently warned her fans of such potential “out of control” and “scary” scams involving her name.

“I only have my verified accounts and my Passes account,” said the athlete on her Instagram update and she did so very clearly at that. Adding on, she plainly said, “Anyone claiming to be me or claiming to be an associate of mine is fake.” There had been many instances of the same happening over the years, with even a similar case taking place during her collaboration with Bryson DeChambeau.

Coming back to the present, the golfer reiterated once again, like she always does, how she doesn’t ask for money. Please do not give anyone money who is claiming to be me,” added Paige Spiranac as she divulged how she does not “have a Google Hangouts account, a WhatsApp account, or a Telegram account.”

“Please, please, please protect yourself and do not fall for these scams,” urged the model-cum-influencer. How can one do that? Well, she even made sure to point that out as she continued, “I am only on my verified social media accounts. you can tell by the millions of followers next to the name [and] I’m not creating alternate accounts, and my personal Passes account.” That does help out a lot, frankly speaking. Especially so if you notice the 4 million, 1 million, and 3.6 million followers she boasts on Instagram, X, and Facebook, respectively. Had many understood the same, then they wouldn’t have been scammed by fraud handles and fake licenses.

Paige Spiranac and the never-ending scams using her name

Around 5 years ago, someone used a fake driver’s license of the golfing influencer with a photoshopped picture of her on top of it to pretend to be her and ask for money. And just as soon as the collab video dropped, a user by the name of Leonard Harrison came forward to point out how he kept getting sent a picture of the same driver’s license.

Have an interesting take?

There was also the case when her persona was being used wrongly. Someone took a screenshot from one of Paige Spiranac’s older videos and edited out the head cover that she was holding to a sign that said, “I love you, baby. please don’t try to hurt me! Because I will never hurt you.” Shocked? Don’t be, for that was just one of the many instances where the diva’s photo was used in the wrong manner. Anyhow, followers and fans of the 31-year-old, just remember one thing that she said: “I will not ask you for money,” and everything will be fine.
