Bryson DeChambeau and Donald Trump’s friendship has blossomed over time. Fans saw their amazing relationship when the 2024 U.S. Open winner invited the 47th POTUS to his YouTube channel for the ‘Break 50’ series. While everyone enjoyed the dynamic between the two, they also acknowledged DeChambeau for showing this side of Trump to the world. That was only the beginning of their story.
Over the next few weeks, DeChambeau & Trump would often cross paths in the eyes of the public. The LIV Golf pro was seen on stage when Donald Trump won the election in November 2024. He was also there to show support for the POTUS’s close friend, Elon Musk. DeChambeau and Trump were among the crowd at the launch of SpaceX. More recently, Bryson DeChambeau was seen joining the Trump family on their private jet as they traveled together.
So much so that Flushing It jokingly suggested that at this rate the golfer would be part of the administration. Now, he would not be a part of the administration, but will he be part of the inauguration taking place indoors because of the immense cold on January 20th? Honestly, we can see that happening. The ceremony will happen at the White House in Washington, D.C., and having already invited DeChambeau to the stage during his victory speech, there is no reason he will not want the pro golfer during his inauguration.

Bryson DeChambeau & Donald Trump are close friends, indeed!
It has been fairly recent since the world has known about the duo’s friendship. But the two seemed to have met long before that. You see Trump’s son threw a party at a Trump property the first time he won the U.S. Open in 2020. The chances are highly likely that this is when they met for the first time, and their bond has only grown stronger. Even when taking the Break 50 challenge, they seemed to be enjoying each other’s company.
DeChambeau thinks highly of Trump’s golf skills. “Man, his iron play was great. I can’t tell you the number of times he stuffed it on the green within 30 feet in regulation. His driver swing is the most repeatable thing I have ever seen. I wish mine was that repeatable. Really, I do,” the golfer said in an interview with Golf.com.

“He’s actually a really good golfer. He stripes it down the middle of the fairway and has good iron game and putts it pretty well. But it was an honor. I mean, anytime you get to play with a president, whether passed or sitting, it’s just an honor, no matter who it is,” he added.
