‘Swing Looks Good’: F1 Legend Damon Hill Joins Fans in Heaping Praise for Danica Patrick’s ‘Beautiful’ Golf Game

A lot of athletes from different sports play golf, as it is a way of engaging in a recreational activity or simply relaxing while still training. From enhancing one’s focus to steadiness, engaging in a round of golf on the greens tests both the mental and physical aspects of an athlete. Akin to the likes of Canelo Alvarez and Tom Brady, Danica Patrick is among the millions of avid athletes who golf. The 40-year-old former NASCAR racer’s efforts on the golf course drew stunned reactions from the sports world.

Among those reactions from Patrick’s followers, one comment that stood out came from former F1 World Champion Damon Hill.

Danica Patrick earns praise from Damon Hill

Taking to Instagram, Patrick recently posted a video of herself playing golf on a course, a hobby she recently picked up. In it, she was stunningly driving the ball into oblivion, all clad in black. “And your energy… is the feeling. “Not the Thought,” she wrote in the post. “EmBODY, the thought. Which means you have to – not just believe it, but know it.”

Her inspiring words, combined with her incredible swing, impressed everyone who watched the video. And that everyone included the 1996 F1 World Champion.

The Brit was awestruck by Danica Patrick’s swing. Commenting on her post, he wrote, “Swing Looks good! But I’m no expert!” The 62-year-old Hill himself is an avid golfer, and although he claimed to be no expert, he certainly has quite a bit of experience on the course.

It was certainly a huge compliment and Danica Patrick knew that too. She humbly replied to his compliment to her and wrote, “Neither am I! 😜 see you at the track soon!”

While both names from the racing world may not be completely at home while swinging a club, they are definitely in the zone whilst behind the wheel. And the fans would gladly watch them go head-to-head on the racing track. Given Damon Hill’s age, it may not happen.

The golf world goes wild over Patrick’s golf moves

Fans were just as thrilled as Hill to see Danica Patrick on the course. They couldn’t help but compliment her for her golf skills. From “beautiful” to “nice swing,” she was showered with praises from the ever-stunned golf world. One fan even wrote, “Heck of a drive. You definitely have a nice swing!”, “Great form and punch!” said another.

Other fans even went on to sing praises of her for being brilliant at driving cars as well as golf balls. “You’re a ten when you can do 2 types of driving,” said one fan. And another stated, “No surprise danica is pure talent in whatever she does.” It’s safe to say Danica Patrick impressed them all.
