Rickie Fowler recently shared his opinion on how fans reacted to a clip from Full Swing’s season 2. For the unversed, Full Swing is a docu-series on Netflix covering intriguing story arcs from the golf world. The 34-year-old golfer stars in the series with his peers Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth among others.

Fowler addressed how some people suggested that it’s because he engaged in such distractions that he is struggling with his form. He also mentioned the advice that he got about working harder at golf. “I think it’s all bullsh** to be honest.” Fowler retorted.

He claimed that if the naysayers could sign such deals, they would invest their time in these things too. In the tweet that mentioned Fowler’s comments, some fans had reacted. One of them agreed with the golfer, while another took a dig at the show and claimed people were not even interested in the show.

It’s true that Rickie Fowler has not been in his best form lately. To top it off, the Ryder Cup tested his reputation big time. Fowler had to rest for most parts of the event, and in the singles match he played, he couldn’t score a win either.

Rickie Fowler and the F1 sensation Lando Norris were seen playing together as a team. Fowler was joined by his fellow golfers Justin Thomas, Max Homa, and Tony Finau. Finau has replaced Morikawa due to unavoidable circumstances.

The event started off with a quirky “speed hole” that required the players to rush to the greens and the team which putted the fastest won the round. While the chaotic energy might have amused some, there were several fans who weren’t fond of that display

The entire event did not focus on speed holes though. The eight-hole matches followed the scramble format. Both players in the team teed off and got the opportunity to pick the best shot for the next. This cycle went on until the team holed the ball.
