The year 2000 was one of the best in Tiger Woods’ career. He won three out of the four major championships that year and achieved the glorious ‘Tiger Slam’ with a win at the Masters the subsequent year. However, there is one interesting theory about the Tigers’ win in 2000.

Incredible theory about Tiger Woods 2000 major win
Tiger Woods is a 15-time major championship winner. The 46-year-old is also an 82-time winner on the PGA Tour. Apart from these major wins, Woods won 10 times and finished outside the top five just three times in 22 starts.

However, in 2000 at Valhalla Golf Club in the PGA Championship, Tiger Woods defeated Bob May in an epic two-man playoff to win the Championship.

On the last playoff hole, the par-five, 18th hole, Tiger took a more of a conservative approach. He decided to hit a three wood off the tee. However, Eldrick Woods hit his tee shot really high as well as, way left.
As result, Tigers’ ball ended into the long mound of grass, which could have resulted in an unplayable lie and a stroke penalty. But, if you check the footage closely, a white hat fan chases the ball into the mound. And both balls as well as, the fan disappear.
One of the great Tiger Woods conspiracy theories is that the Tiger Slam never happens without a phantom bounce on 18 in the playoff vs. Bob May.

However, suddenly the fan reappears out from the mound and the ball bounces out and goes further 10-15 yards. It may be because the white hat fan crouched down and then threw the ball out. However, nothing of that sort has yet been proven. But if it had been proven, Tiger would not achieve the Tiger Slam. This might be one of the most incredible conspiracy theories ever.
Woods latest major win
Tiger won the 2019 Masters at the Agusta National to win his 15th major title. He won the 2019 Masters with an overall score of 13-under-par. As a result, won by a one-stroke lead. Tiger won a prize money share worth $2,070,000. Woods is just three majors away from breaking Jack Nicklaus’s record of 18 major wins.
