Bryson DeChambeau‘s exploits in the YouTube golf space are unmatched! Rick Shiels may have been the first prominent golf content creator, but it was DeChambeau who really made the sport popular on the video-sharing platform. The enigmatic professional golfer has changed the landscape of golf content creation over the last few years. Whether you are a golf fan, love Tom Brady, enjoy Chris Pratt movies, or are into politics, there is something for everyone on the Bryson DeChambeau YouTube channel. The dynamic list of guests the Crushers GC captain has had in his videos is just unreal.

The 2024 U.S. Open champion might not have reached 15 episodes of his ‘Breaking 50’ series. However, a total of 183 videos have earned him 1.76 million fans on YouTube. And the numbers keep on growing as DeChambeau releases a new video every so often to keep the fans engaged. His YouTube followers would describe him as more CHARISmatic than GRACEful. But that didn’t stop him from turning Grace Charis into a fan. And in an exclusive interview with Andrew Whitelaw of EssentiallySports, Charis had nothing but praise for the LIV Golf pro.

In the EssentiallySports exclusive interview, Whitelaw asked Charis, “We’ve seen Bryson DeChambeau change the game for YouTube golf. What do you think about his impact? Do you think it’s made it harder or easier? Do you think it’s opened doors for other YouTube influencers in golf? It’s been massive.” Nodding in approval with Whitelaw, Charis stated, “Yeah! His videos are awesome. Bryson’s a good inspiration for all of us. I think rising tides raises all ships. So him doing well, it’s just good for everybody else in the space.” A great use of John F. Kennedy’s popular phrase by Grace Charis.

Continuing the EssentiallySports exclusive interview, Andrew Whitelaw further inquired, “Why do you think people are so drawn to his content?” After giving it a moment of thought, Charis replied, “I think it’s interesting and he brings really cool guests on that are from different spaces. I think he had Tom Brady (he did) or something. It was some football guy that came on. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s really interesting’. I didn’t even know that guy plays golf. I think bringing different worlds into the golf space is really good for us and it’s helping grow everything for the game.” Tom Brady’s appearance in the ‘Break 50’ series did draw a lot of attention from the fans of both sports. The video managed to gain 3.1 million views and around 5,000 comments from the sporting fraternity.

Speaking about “growing everything for the game,” it was Bryson DeChambeau who started the conversation about giving back to the sport he cherishes. After all that he has achieved, the LIV Golf pro had mentioned, “I feel like there’s multiple ways to grow the game during a press conference a month prior to the 2024 LIV Golf Team Championship. His vision is clear, and he has stated, “It’s now my vision to give back in that capacity in different ways, whether it’s with LIV, YouTube, doesn’t matter. That’s what I want to do.”
