Professionally, Tiger Woods has achieved nothing but success. He has won over 100 titles worldwide, including 15 majors and 18 World Golf Championships. On the contrary, he struggled to keep up with his personal life, especially the relationship with his then-wife, Elin Nordegren.

A mistake on the golfer’s part led the couple to get a divorce in 2010. Notably, as part of the settlement, Nordegren reportedly received $100 million from her ex-husband. While their relationship ended in court, the latter wanted to prove it to the entire world. Hence, she took a shocking measure.

Some might believe that she did it for money. However, $2.5 million is nothing compared to the $100 million she got in the divorce settlement. In fact, the former Swedish model and nanny had revealed that she took the money from Woods not because she wanted it but because she needed it.

“Money doesn’t make you happy,” Woods’ ex-wife told the People. “But I have to be honest: It is making some things easier,” she added. “I have the opportunity to be with my children as much as I want.”
