Golf is considered a privileged game, and the players earn in millions. But they also make it a point to give back to society. They may do it in the form of charity, or by coaching aspirational youngsters for free. One such team, which plays in the LIV Golf circuit, won hearts by spending time with some kids to talk about the game.
The children belonged to Amigos For Kids, an organization that helps underprivileged minors. Their mission statement says they aim “to prevent child abuse, and neglect by valuing children, strengthening families, and educating communities”.

The LIV Golf team that we are talking about is none other than Torque GC. Although in the last six golfing events, the team has taken titles thrice, their performance fell short at LIV Golf Miami 2023. As a result, the team lost out on the $14 million win.
Not to be bogged down by failure, Torque GC decided to spend time with children who need support and encouragement. The golf team also shared things about golf and sports in general with the little kids. Isn’t it heartwarming?
Torque GC posted about the team visit to Amigos For Kids on their social media pages. They wrote: “An inspiring day on and off the greens! Torque GC had the privilege of spending time with these amazing kids from @amigosforkids , an organization dedicated to helping children who’ve overcome adversity.”
