People consider PNC Championship as one of their favorite events in the golf world. Especially since Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods, and John Daly II, son of John Daly, started playing, the ratings for the father-son tournament have increased tremendously. Spectators have high hopes for the duo in the world of professional golf, which their fathers ruled in their prime eras.
There have been some issues between Daly Sr. and Tiger throughout their careers. In fact, the Arkansas son once claimed that the 15-time major champion once mocked him in front of almost 2000 people. But they have never avoided a question and often shared funny stories regarding their meetings whenever the interviewers raised questions about them. However, such was not the case with their sons.

Is John Daly II fed up with the Charlie Woods-related questions?
Nelly Korda, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth…there were 20 former major champions were present at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando from December 15 to 18. Yet, all eyes were on the sons of the 1991 PGA Championship winner and the 2019 Masters Tournament champion.
However, it seems that the young Daly doesn’t like to be linked with the 13-year-old Charlie anymore. Because when one of the Good Good Podcast hosts asked him about the same, he purposefully avoided mentioning the young Woods in his answer.
“Every single year when the PNC Championship comes up,” the host asked John Daly II when he appeared as a guest on their podcast. “It’s obvious like you and Charlie Woods are the headlines,” he added, “…do you look forward to that event?”
“The first like four or five years, we were just focused on trying to win…,” the collegiate golfer told the hosts. He continued to explain how their “trying to enjoy” the event mentality helped them finally win once at the PNC event. Moreover, he proudly added, “I was putting really good.”

Notably, neither John Daly II nor Charlie Woods has turned professional. While one is a collegiate player, the other has only begun his junior golfing. Yet, from the interview, the 19-year-old seemed to have already set his eyes on his rival for the time when he starts playing on the Tour.
