It seems LIV Golf has already beaten Rockstar Games to their punch. The highly-anticipated sixth edition of Grand Theft Auto is all set to release in 2025. However, it appears as if many couldn’t wait that long. What’s more, the impatient fans of the game came from none other than the Saudi-backed league, the Sergio Garcia-led Fireballs GC.
The internet had been set ablaze owing to the new trailer that was dropped a while back. And now, the team of golfers decided to reignite the flames once again as they took to recreate the famous installment, surprising and stunning many video games and golfing fans alike!

GTA is a franchise that has topped the list of many fans of the gaming world since its inception. And, as the sixth installment of the same created waves around the glove, Garcia and Co. couldn’t help but take part in the same as they posted a video of them enjoying their own version of the game on the team’s social media handle.
A video was uploaded to Instagram, which started off with a different version of the GTA startup screen, a Fireball GC version to be precise. Moreover, in the collage of sorts, LIV Golf was mentioned in place of Rockstar Games while “GTA Fireballs” was put instead of the popular franchise. What’s more, they added the caption, “This is the game that WE WANT TO PLAY,” all the while showing excitement for the upcoming GTA 6.
The post that was shared shows snippets of the skipper and his team, including the likes of Abraham Ancer, David Puig, and Eugenio Chacarra. In addition, it also showcases the group riding their cars around the racing course while the popular GTA theme song plays in the background of the video. What’s more, the team decided to integrate more of the game into the same as they put a map along with the money they have on the side of the screen similar to the actual gameplay while adding “MISSION PASSED! RESPECT +” at the end of the video. True fans of GTA, it seems!

This is not the first time that the world of golf and video games has crossed over each other. Another pro-golfer has a liking towards video games, however, it’s not GTA 6 that he has his eyes on and neither is the pro part of the Saudi-backed league.
