Golf isn’t just a game that can only be played on the course anymore. Thanks to its popularity, for decades now, video games of the sport, especially the PGA Tour, have been circulating for players to relax and enjoy from the comforts of their homes. As the years progressed the more popular the games go and the more advanced too. Fans eagerly look forward to the newer and more updated versions of these games, which launch consistently annually. But of late, they haven’t been pleased with how that’s going.

Taking to Twitter, just hours ago, EA announced that the game would now release only next month, on the 7th of April. That is, in fact, the second day of the Master’s Tournament this year! While to many it looked like a promotion tactic, the golf fans didn’t care. It pushed them to the edge of frustration. And they sure let EA know how they felt on Twitter.

Many of the fans were further convinced that the game would be delayed at least once more after this. They lashed out, infuriated with the gaming giant for the postponement.

Moreover, some fans had already given up. They claimed that they could no longer deal with the roller-coaster ride of constant excitement and disappointment. To them, the whole situation was just “tragic.”

The avid gamers in the crowd also took the opportunity to let EA know the changes they wanted in the game. They pointed out that if issues like the resolution or some game mechanics persisted even after all the delays, they’d be even more furious.
