After her beautiful accomplishment, the South Korean golfer could be seen jumping around and high-fiving the people on her team. Chevron has also pledged an incredible $10,000 for each birdie on the 17th hole throughout the event. There were 46 birdies on the 17th hole after the second round. Three straight birdies also followed Chun’s hole-in-one shot, adding a significant tip to her million-dollar ace.
This is not the first time In Gee Chun has been associated with noble causes. The golfer, who has a charity called the In Gee Chun Lancaster Country Club Educational Foundation, also won the LPGA Velocity Global Impact Award last month.

The third round of the Chevron Championship saw several LPGA stars bring their A-game to the greens. American golfers Allisen Corpuz and Angel Yin took the lead ahead of the final day’s play, which will see the winner walk away with $765,000 in earnings.
Corpuz birdied on four of her first five holes and settled for a 5-under 67. Following a missed putt at the Carlton Woods, the golfer had to share her position on the top of the leaderboard with Yin. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Yin made six birdies and a bogey to go on the top. South Korea’s Kim A Lim, who was in the lead through 36 holes, fell down the leaderboard owing to a double bogey on the par-3 third and a bogey on the par-4 fifth and fifteenth holes. She is currently tied at T6 with Nelly Korda, Choi Hye-Jin, and Kim Hyo-Joo.
