In an episode of her podcast, Spiranac explained why she doesn’t talk much about her personal life publicly. “As soon as you make it public, you’re giving everyone the right to ask questions and you have to then answer them,” Spiranac said. “Also, it’s just people tend to get involved, and I don’t like that.”.

Spiranac also talked about how her achievements are not very enjoyable once people start criticizing her on social media for them. “When a big milestone has happened in my life, it’s always turned into something that is not joyous anymore because people comment on it…” she said. “…they turn it into something that’s it not, and so I just want to leave my relationship and my family and things that are really, really, really important to me out of it.”

Why did Spiranac keep her relationship secret for so long?

The ex-professional golfer also explained why she kept her relationship with Steven Tinoco a secret for so long. Spiranac married the professional golfer back in 2018 and was with him for a few years until she came forward and mentioned being divorced. However, she didn’t share many details about her marriage even when the two were together. “Having a public relationship is very difficult,” she said. “As soon as you make it public, you’re giving everyone the right to ask questions and you have to then answer them.”

She also stated that in case things didn’t work out between the two, she was responsible to inform her fans about the same. “ I end up breaking up with that person, I then have to talk about the break-up,” she said. But Spiranac has talked about almost everything she has faced in her life. No matter how hard she tries to keep things secretive, she ends up hinting to her fans a bit about them.
