And one of LIV’s players has even managed to earn an amount as big as $35 million in just five months of playing on the Saudi circuit. And it is none other than Dustin Johnson, who recently expressed his true feelings about the achievement.

What is Dustin Johnson’s reaction to the $35 million he has earned?

Johnson recently made it to the news after being crowned as the LIV Golf Individual Champion and secured $18 million for the same. And as of now, the golfer has earned $35 million from the LIV Golf league after five months of being a part of the new tour. However, the player has much higher hopes for himself playing on LIV.

In a recent interview at the LIV Golf Team Championship presser, Dustin Johnson opened up about his honest feelings regarding the money he had made. The golfer was asked if he had ever thought of making so much money after joining the league. And in his response, Johnson said“Yeah, I’m actually a little under where I thought I would be.” He added, “I’ve done okay. I didn’t quite reach my goal. But yeah, I’m happy with it so far.”

Every player in the LIV Golf league made a hard choice by shifting to an entirely new tour. But the decision to switch to the Saudi-backed tour has been working pretty well for Dustin Johnson. And recently, Johnson joked about his feelings on his decision to shift to LIV Golf leaving his PGA Tour career.

“We were talking about this yesterday. I was really regretting my decision to come here. It’s just been terrible,” Dustin Johnson said. One can clearly understand how ‘terrible’ it is in the LIV Golf league for Johnson. The golfer earned $74 million in his entire PGA Tour career. Whereas, Johnson has already made $35 million in the new league other than the $125 million contract he signed.
