Donald Trump loves golf. He thinks he can get the pending $3 billion merger done in merely 15 minutes. He appeared in the Let’s Go Podcast with Jim Gary and Bill Belichick and said, “I do think [the deal] will come together. I could certainly help it. I would say it would take me the better part of 15 minutes to get that deal done.”
Well, players do not doubt his abilities to do so. He has good ties with the PIF and has hosted several LIV Golf events at his courses. The world thought he was making plans to play golf with many political personalities from across the world, he also has a new update for the golf community. This time, its something tech-oriented.
A few hours ago, Donald Trump shared the news of launching his mobile golf game, Trump Golf. The Game. It is available for preorder ahead of the holidays. The official commercial of the game starts with Trump saying, “Take a look at that lovely swing!” As he demonstrated the game, he asked, “Isn’t it perfect?” As per the President, it’s “the greatest golf game ever created.”
The game is promoted as one of the best golfing experiences for the players. And well, apart from that, they can not only put balls into the holes but can also make in-app purchases. One such purchase is a whopping $99 Trump Noir golf club. It is described as the one with “full Trump power” and has optimal accuracy. The Noir is described as “extremely limited.” You can also purchase the Trump Gold at $9.99. They are digital clubs and are known to be limited editions. But, ironically, the cost of the club is pretty much the same as the cost of the game.
Even though he has certainly said he could do so much for the golf world, the golf community does not seem to be happy with him.

The golf community calls Trump Golf the dumbest game
Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge is a fictional golf video game from The Simpsons episode “Marge Be Not Proud.” When Bart is caught shoplifting, Marge buys this dull, simplistic game as an alternative to the exciting one he wants. The game features boring, limited gameplay, where players just select a club and putt, mocking the underwhelming, low-effort games of the 90s. It was dubbed to be utterly boring and disappointing. One fan called Donald Trump’s newly launched game worse than it and wrote, “This looks worse than Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge.”
It seems fans have strong thoughts about the game. One commented, “Looks like the dumbest f***g game I’ve ever seen.” There is no other free way of downloading the app. You will have to pay the amount. Taking to this, one of them wrote in frustration, “This guy is the most arrogant piece of sh*t on the planet.” While another simply wrote, “Jesus Christ,” in awe.

During the 2018 “The Match,” Donald Trump played with professional golfers Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Woods allegedly caught Trump improving his lie by moving the ball. This added to the latter’s long-standing reputation of being involved in various incidents where his golf integrity has been questioned. Trump has been known to have a competitive edge and to bend the rules in some instances, though often this has been part of his larger-than-life persona. Taking to this, one of them even commented, “He’s great at cheating at golf.”
