As the event in Greenbrier came to a close, DeChambeau went ahead to lift the trophy and take home the prize money of $4 million with a stunning performance in the final round. After his win, the champ opened up about his past experiences while playing Junior golf. He mentioned that the preparation that came as a result of what he did during his young days as a golfer helped him achieve the feat.
Making the list of players who scored 58 on a professional tour, he explained how he would play on the forward tees to get comfortable with hitting low scores. Greg Norman Jr made sure to take to his Twitter handle to provide succor to the LIV Golfer as he uploaded the part of the video in the interview with Bryson where he talks about teeing it forward.
The entrepreneur made sure to mention what a great lesson and game it was from the American golfer. He went ahead to tweet how all players should move up to play at the front tees while practicing for a hole. After one learns how to shoot and score on the lower side regularly is when they should move back and play. “Drop the ego, it’s actually fun too, and still you gotta hit it well and make putts” continued the LIV Golf CEO’s son as he guided his golf followers.
Great lesson and game here from @b_dechambeau
All players from time to time should move up and play the Front tees during practice. Learn how to shoot low scores there. Consistently. And then move back.

DeChambeau, through the interview, made sure to advise many aspiring junior golfers on how to better their game. He asked them to go up to the red tees and shoot sub-60 rounds. If one is able to shoot under 60 on the front tees consistently and get into a comfortable mindset of scoring low, it would tremendously help the golfer, just like how it helped the American professional put up a great show.

Recalling DeChambeau’s electrifying performance
DeChambeau made sure to call in a frenzy of exhilaration as he scored a 12-under-par 58 on the third and final round at The Old White in Greenbrier. Winning a tournament on LIV Golf for the first time, he made sure to score a total of 187 (-23) as he beat every other golfer on the field to claim the title and the winner’s cut from the pool of $25 million.
The score he finished on Sunday came to be the lowest score ever in his career and in the Saudi-backed league. Although the win did not get him any OWGR points or cement his place on the US team for the Ryder Cup, one can’t deny that he has marked his name on the annals of history in the game.
