LIV Golf is on a two-week break. The Saudi-backed league will only resume its schedule on July 12 in Spain. But Patrick Reed will not be spotted drowsing away during the same. Why? Well, he would be teeing it off alongside a total of 156 golfers at the DP World Tour event, the Italian Open presented by Regione Emilia-Romagna.
The event will tee off at the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia on Thursday, June 27, and will see its finale being played out on Sunday, June 30. Many would surely be flocking to the course to watch their favorite golfers, including Reed and Angel Cabrera. But for those unable to do so, no need to worry, for it will be broadcast live on TV.

Although he did express his interest in receiving a U.S. Open invitation in a press conference back at the Masters, he surprised everyone by pulling out of the Dallas Qualifiers for the same. This marked the first time in 10 years he was not spotted in the field for a major since the 2014 Masters. Moreover, he didn’t finish well at Nashville either.
Reed placed himself at T32 tied with Adrian Meronk and Thomas Pieters at The Grove. He did so while scoring 4-under which came as a result of his figures of 72-70-67 over the three days of play. The 33-year-old LIV Golf Pro will, no doubt, be looking to clinch his fourth European win and prove himself!
