However, netizens were left worried about Woods warming up in such cold conditions. The Genesis Open will serve as the 47-year-old’s first start to the season, and fans would expect a good start for their idol.

Would like to see him maybe deviate from his normal routine and play later in the day for Pro-AMs/Practice rounds when cold. Those temps can’t be good for all the metal in his leg!

Man…I don’t want him out there like this. Too bad he doesn’t know the tournament host who could maybe get him out of it.

Additionally, some were quick to notice something fishy in his warm-up. A few close-eyed observers were left convinced that Woods was limping while taking his steps on the course. It’ll be a matter of great dismay for his millions of followers to see their hero struggling if indeed the golfer finds it difficult to walk. It adds to the burning question of whether he’ll use a golf cart for mobility, having been a staunch critic of its usage.
He's seriously limping on the range.

What happened to Woods’ leg?
The golf legend was crawling his way back into the game gradually after some troublesome years in the last decade. His sensational victory at the 2019 Masters ignited hopes of Woods’ comeback, but it all went south after his car crash in February last year.

The 15-time major championship winner lost control of his Genesis SUV in the early hours of 23rd February 2022. It veered off-road and resulted in a heavy accident in a location outside Los Angeles.
While Woods made it out alive, he had suffered comminuted open fractures to both the upper and lower portions of his tibia and fibula in his right leg. He went through painful surgery and prolonged rehab to make a comeback to the sport.
