“I don’t normally play stroke play events,” admitted a nervous Paige Spiranac at the beginning of August in a YouTube video she shared on her platform. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the 2024 Creator Classic is set to take place on August 28 at East Lake Golf Club. And the diva, meanwhile, couldn’t help but express her anxiety for the same, despite conveying her excitement to play at the event.

The 31-year-old shared a picture of herself in her golfing attire on X while hinting at the upcoming event ahead of the TOUR Championship. “It’s the week of the Creator Classic!” she wrote, “Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunity! The goal is to have fun.”

While she did express exhilaration, what caught the attention of many of Spiranac’s fans was her reply to a certain reaction by a fan. A follower commented, “…… and dominate!” as they added to the caption while urging the female golfer to win the upcoming tournament, to which she replied, “I don’t handle pressure well at all.” This is not the first time she has mentioned the same, for the athlete had, in the YouTube video she shared at the beginning of August, pointed out, “It’s a stroke play event which I don’t normally play stroke play events, especially under pressure.”

Another admirer wished the social media influencer the best while urging her, “Just don’t finish last!! Good luck!!!” Her reply? “That’s the expected result lol,” answered Paige Spiranac. Interestingly, the model will be teeing off against the likes of 15 content creators who will hope to clinch the inaugural Creator Classic title. Unsurprisingly enough, her fans didn’t let her go through the nervous phase alone, as they took to the tweet to convey their support and love for the golfer.

Now, 8 years later, the social media influencer would be teeing off at a contest that would boast a competitive stroke play format. Consequently, a couple of fans came forward to comment, “Best wishes to you having fun and posting a competitive score after eight years! Cheers!” and “I’m sure your stroke play is still excellent.”
