Lately, Bryson DeChambeau and Donald Trump have been the talk of the golf town. They hit the greens together to break 50 from the red tee at Bedminster for the Crushers Captain’s YouTube channel. In this series, he invites a celebrity guest and asks them to golf in a two-man scramble.

The video was a hit among netizens, and its virality further propelled the two-time major winner to new success in his YouTube career, reaching 1 million subscribers. He currently has 1.23 million subscribers. Of course, not to forget the fun that the audience had while watching the uncommon camaraderie between the two friends. Even Donald Trump spoke highly of the 30-year-old golfer.

At the rally before the presidential election that was held on Saturday in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Donald Trump shared his experience of facing off with Bryson DeChambeau. Snippets from the live broadcast on C-Span were shared by the official X account of NUCLR GOLF.

Trying to turn it into a fun speech, he spoke about DeChambeau hitting the balls a mile and also added, “I hit it far also. And we played very good and it was a break  50.” Elaborating on how difficult the par 3s on the course make it, he said that it pretty much had to be 13 birdies and 5 eagles, which is what makes it so complex.

Directly complimenting the Crushers GC Captain, Trump said, “He’s the longest hitter on Tour, he just won the U.S. Open, he’s a handsome guy, he’s a great guy, he loves the people, loves the country.” However, he did not fail to acknowledge the fact that it became the most trending video on the internet, in front of the spectators.

While the entire speech given by the former POTUS at Minnesota was indeed a fun one, not everyone enjoyed it. The deliberate addition of golf and mentions of Joe Biden elicited mixed reactions from the audience.

The fantastic Donald Trump: sarcasm by some, compliments by others

“Break 50” is one of the most popular segments on the Scientist’s YouTube channel. Previously, many famous personalities have made appearances in the series, including golf diva Paige Spiranac and El Niño, Sergio Garcia. However, the Trump vs. DeChambeau video was the most anticipated one so far. It currently has a whopping 8.9 million views on YouTube.

Taking to this, people left comments like, “He was fantastic. I was surprised by how good President Trump is. Hits it in the sweet spot. Wow”, and “They both played amazingly, great watch for those who haven’t seen it”. During the challenge, the two carded a total of twelve birdies and five eagles over 18 holes, and it was undoubtedly fun golf banter.

People have often come to enjoy the moments that they post together on the internet. Even in the video, Trump made a joke and asked DeChambeau if Biden could break 50. This shows their fun relationship. This video, too, was pretty much the same. Taking to this, one of them said, “Pure entertainment.”

While Bryson DeChambeau is 30 years old, and Donald Trump is 78, the LIV pro is very close to Trump and his family. Despite the age difference, the two share a rather unique friendship. Whether it’s DeChambeau celebrating his first US Open victory at the Trump National Golf Club or the fun after his recent victory at Pinehurst No. 2, where he chugged wine from the trophy with Eric Trump by his side, their camaraderie is evident in several videos together.

Not everyone was happy about Donald Trump adding the golf bit to his speech. Some people are simply frustrated with the prolonged golf debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Trump had challenged Biden to play golf with him to see if his handicap truly was 8, as he claimed. One user commented, Stop with this Trump posting every single day It’s boring

However, Biden’s secretary had mentioned that the current POTUS declined the challenge, stating he had to focus on America’s future rather than playing golf with his opponent. Trump even brought this up in his speech. Taking to this another user sarcastically wrote, “Just amazing this is being talked about at a rally by a former President, running for office again. What a world we live in. Just an unbelievable time to be alive,”
