Joel Dahmen's 15-club blunder—just a fluke or a sign of deeper issues in his game?

Geno Bonnalie is currently with Joel Dahmen helping him at the Shriners Open in Las Vegas and we all know how that is going. Dahmen’s opening round at the Shriners Children’s Open took an unexpected turn when he found out that he only had 15 clubs in his bag. This unintended mistake resulted in a violation of Rule 4.1b of the Rules of Golf. Moreover, the infraction which was detected on the fourth tee later resulted in a four-stroke penalty.

The golfer was penalized two strokes each for the first two holes. Luckily, however,  the rules limited the damage to four strokes, which helped the golfer avoid further penalties. This incident was “Bizarro” for the golfer as it had “Never happened to him before.” His caddie Bonnalie was also shocked seeing the golfer struggle with penalties. But regardless of the stress this job brings, it also has its fair share of perks. Bonnalie who recently went on a trip with his family shared some pictures a few weeks ago with the caption, “My Disneyland… Thankful to have sponsors that make these kinds of trips so much more fun @pxg @yeti @knockaround @travismathew @saxxunderwear”.

If there is any partnership that’s been thriving in the golf world it has to be the partnership between SAXX Underwear and various pro caddies. So, this brand sponsors an elite group of professional golf caddies who are also known as the Ball Masters. There are a lot of caddies that benefit from this partnership like Aaron Flener, John Limanti, Joel Stock, John Ellis, John Jackson,, and of course, Geno Bonnalie.

Not many fans understand the importance of caddies in a golfer’s game, but Saxx recognizes the vital role caddies play in golf. Hence, it appreciates the Ball Masters by partnering up with them as they wear Saxx attire which includes underwear, shorts, and polos, both on and off the course. But did you know Saxx also supports a worthy cause by donating funds to the Testicular Cancer Foundation for every birdie made by the Ball Masters’ players?

Saxx Underwear donates funds for Testicular Cancer Foundation

The Ball Masters who are all sponsored by Saxx Underwear recently teed up for a good cause. Last year these players and caddies helped raise $10,000 for the Testicular Cancer Foundation (TCF) and this past season, Saxx donated $1001 to TCF for every birdie made by the Ball Masters’ players. “Geno, Aaron, John and Joel are four of my best friends in golf, so I couldn’t pass up the chance to get in the mix. As the new guy this year, I’ll be the first to welcome more members to the group. I’m excited to see who makes the cut”, said John Ellis who recently joined the club.
