Does Nelly Korda Have any Pets?

Golfers often spend a lot of time away from home when they are competing, and waiting for them back at home are their loved ones! Sometimes, these loved ones are animals too! Among the many golfers who have pets, Nelly Korda is also one of them.

Recently, Korda posted two Instagram stories, with the second one featuring an adorable cat, which she captioned with a heart emoji. The 13-time LPGA Tour winner has a cat named Rafi. Is she exclusively fond of cats? To have a pet, yes, but not to play with and love. The 25-year-old golfer has often been spotted with her sister’s dog, Charlie.

She has often posted pictures with Rafi and the dog. One time she even shared a cute update on Instagram wherein “Just a 30-pound lap dog” was sitting in her lap, and the two were “watching some tennis.” Details as to when Korda got Rafi are unknown, but as per her social media, it has been over 5 years. The two must spend a lot of time together and engage in fun activities. Korda even likes to let the world know that she is a proud cat-mama and even sports adorable “meow” loungewear.

Nelly Korda’s elder sister, Jessica Korda, is also a big pet lover. She is more of a dog person than a cat person. The elder Korda sister has a Goldendoodle dog named Charlie. The fur baby often makes appearances on both Jessica Korda’s Instagram and on custom golf towels she has been seen using while competing on the Tour.

Following the revelation of the Korda sisters’ fondness for animals, a deeper question emerges. Do only these two have a love for pets, or are there other golfers out there who share a similar interest in and affection for animals?

The love for animals isn’t confined to LPGA Tour pros. Even PGA Tour legend Tiger Woods appears to share a similar interest and enjoys spending time with animals. Woods has three dogs, whom he, along with his son Charlie Woods and daughter Samantha Woods, enjoys playing with.

One other golfer’s dog that fans love to see is Cove, who lives comfortably with 5x major champion Brooks Koepka. She is a black labrador and often makes appearances on Jena Sims and Koepka’s Instagram in love-filled posts. Cove is over 6 years old and is extremely loved. She is Sims and Koepka’s first child and is a protective big sister of Crew.
