Justin Thomas is one of Woods’s closest buddies and everyone knows the duo to be fun and relaxed. However, only a few might know that Thomas recently shared a hilarious story that shows a different side of their friendship. During the 2019 Presidents Cup, Thomas asked Woods if he’d mind being further back on a tricky tee shot. Woods’ response? “I don’t care what I have in, just put me in the f***ing fairway.” And boy did Thomas deliver.

He nailed the shot, and they went on to win 1-up against Ben An and Hideki Matsuyama. That wasn’t a one-off. Woods and Thomas were an unstoppable duo, and they went on to win both their matches together. Thomas still talks about Woods’s ability to deliver under pressure and it’s truly awesome to see the two friends supporting each other. And thanks to Woods, Team USA had a thrilling 16-14 victory as they earned three points from three matches.
