And now, the senior golfer has showcased his positive side yet again as he coupled it with a tinge of humor to catch the golf world by surprise.

Daly’s calm demeanor on the course has always managed to capture his fans’ attention. But now, his latest post on his social media handle went ahead to make the golf world buzz and laugh their heads off!

John Daly goes viral on Instagram thanks to his “life size” joke

Known to be a daring golfer on the course, Daly has captivated the hearts of many through his exquisite skills and techniques. And this is what transpired when Pete Dye designed the famous statue of the professional on Mystic Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

But in an Instagram post uploaded by the 57-year-old, one can see a bizarre image of the statue. Grown in between the legs of the 19x PGA Tour winner is a nest of hornets, much to the surprise of the golfing community.

Nevertheless, Daly made sure to see the funny part of it. He went ahead to upload the picture with the caption, “Thanks to the hornets for making it life size,” in a bid to pull off a sly comment of sorts.

It must have come as a surprise to the senior golfer when the post, coupled with the comment, blew up on the internet. His followers went crazy with their reactions as they sent a frenzy of responses under the post!

Is Daly’s condition out of control?

The golf world was stunned when the picture was uploaded to his Instagram handle. It went and drew in a lot of reactions, ranging from admiration for the golfer to hilarious ones making fun of the situation in a light-hearted manner. Let us take a look at some of the comments that were left behind in the picture.

Daly boasts a total of 19 professional wins, including five PGA Tour victories, with two of them being majors. His accolades are more than enough to dub the golfer a legend of the game. And now, with the hornet’s nest in a precarious position, he came to be termed one again as people commented, “Legend.”, and “This can’t be real 😂😂😂 this man is a legend lol.”

Being a senior comes with a package of health concerns. It was true even for the professional who suffered from bladder cancer. Well, another one of the comments indicated a different ailment, as the follower said, “Letting the hemorrhoids get out of control again I see.”

A proper power zone in a swing is very important to make the ball travel a long distance. Does anything more need to be said about the next comment? The hilarious fan responded, “That’s the power zone! 💪”

Meanwhile, another one of the golf enthusiasts asked him a different question. Although it seems as if it was laced with concern, the fact that it was addressed to a hornet’s nest under a statue makes it savage: “Hahaha!!! Does it itch or sting?”

Now there were people who actually commented on the sly innuendo. The caption bordering on a thin line of subtlety was different from the reaction that a follower typed in under the post, which directly mentions the part in question: “I’ve seen it… it’s actually bigger”

The nest in question was so big that some fans made fun of it by bringing in beer and cigars, which Daly is extremely famous for: “It needs its own beer and cig …. 💯”
