The golf industry is full of glamour and style, and it’s safe to say that luxury is just another word for the sport. A lot of high-profile golfers have used their skills to earn millions of dollars, which they now use for their convenience, which includes buying a private jet! After joining the Saudi-backed league, golfer Dustin Johnson’s bank account sure did get a boost, but did he buy a private jet as well? Well, technically no.
Dustin Johnson, the two-time major winner has partnered with Magellan Jets in an exclusive global private jet partnership. This does not mean that the golfer owns a private jet, but the partnership comes with an exclusive deal for Johnson to fly anywhere he wants with Magellan. He describes the partnership experience as the ‘perfect fit’, which it is, honestly.
The golfer recently brought his golfing buddies to help promote the brand. His 4Aces teammates Patrick Reed, Pat Perez, and Harold Varner III were on board to promote the company and host unique experiences for its customers. Johnson even said, “My team at Magellan always goes the extra mile to ensure the comfort and safety of my family and the 4Aces on every trip,” according to Corporate Jet Investor.

Next is Tiger Woods’s $53 million Gulfstream G550, which is just a cherry on top of all his success. Woods’s plane can fly close to 8,000 miles and carry up to 20 people at a time.

And it’s not just about getting from point A to point B—it’s about the experience. That’s why LIV superstar Phil Mickelson chose his Gulfstream V when he did. He has now sold his jet because owning one gave him stress. It seems like the golf industry really loves Gulfstream because Jack Nicklaus also trusts Gulfstream III for his air travel. This private jet is priced at a staggering $37 million for the comfort it offers.
