Lexi Thompson is invincible at the gym. From her morning workout routines to pre-tournament smashing sessions, the 29 YO LPGA Tour Pro never misses an opportunity to leave the golf community in awe of her exceptional fitness. Her recent attempt was no different.

In an effort to give out Monday motivation, and make more people aware of her health and fitness community, Lexi Fitness, the Florida-based golfer, shared snippets from her recent workout. She took to her official Instagram account and shared a photo of herself in between the workout and a video of her stretching.

She captioned it, “Monday motivation ! So excited about the people who have already joined, looking forward to keeping in touch and pushing through this fitness journey together! Click the link in my bio to join me and the rest of the Lexi Fitness team”. Although Thompson has not had the best season this year, her motivation to remain fit pretty much stays consistent at all times.

However, she announced her retirement from the professional sport full-time after the 2024 season concludes. The 29 YO stated that she is looking forward to what life has in store for her next. However, through her community, Thompson will be as much an icon in golf as she has been so far. “I will always look for ways to contribute to the sport and inspire the next generation of golfers. And of course, I look forward to a little time for myself,” said Thompson.

The entire golf community, once again, was taken aback by her exceptional strength and dedication, even at this age. They flooded the comments section with compliments and good luck for the golfing pro.

Fans appreciate Lexi Thompson’s ‘good move’

Post her retirement news, Lexi Thompson also opened up about how golf affected her mental health. At the US Women’s Open presser, she stated how being a public figure always left her under constant attention, scrutiny, and pressure. Sometimes, for her, it became a rather daunting task to smile through the outside as she struggled through it all inside.

She also stated how lonely it gets at times due to the immense competition and the process of trying to be yourself. Her statement was, “You know, we’re not perfect. We’re humans. Words hurt. It’s hard to overcome sometimes.”

According to her fans, not unlike herself the retirement will help her focus more on herself rather than trying to impress the fans. Taking to this, they left comments like, Good luck Lexi! Lexi Strong! and This is a good next move for you!”

Lexi Thompson has been working hard in the field of professional golf for over two decades now. In 2007, she became the youngest golfer to become a part of the US Women’s Open field at the age of 12. She turned professional in June 2020, at the age of 15. She has maintained her fitness routine ever since and is barely seen having fun, which could affect her body.

However, recently she has been enjoying herself in mini-vacations, and honestly, Thompson looks happier than ever. But her fitness drill remains constant, even when she is out. Taking to this, one of the fans asking her to chill, wrote, Do you ever stop and drink a beer? I would love to see that Pic.

Lexi Thompson is among the three players from the Captain’s pick who will be appearing for the Solheim Cup 2024. She will be playing for the Stacy Lewis-led team USA. Ahead of it, Thompson last appeared at the FM Championship last weekend. She settled for a disappointing T12 finish with a 3-under.

However, her fans present at the TPC Boston were as supportive as ever. One of them even got an opportunity to meet her. They commented,Was so glad to have the chance to see you at the FM Saturday thank you for the autograph!”
