The revised names of the LIV Golf teams are making rounds on the internet. However, they did not revise every team’s name, which was noted by a famous golf writer, Kyle Porter. He took the liberty to express his views on the names. The writer took his Twitter account and shared the name of four teams and their descriptions. The pictures he shared described every team’s name and why that was chosen. But did the golf world like it?

However, the golf writer found it hilarious and sarcastically praised it. Now the question is, did the golf fans think the same as Porter? Or they had their opinions about it? The authorities have changed only a few names, and the rest remained the same. The Hy Flyers GC will be headed by none other than Phil Mickelson. Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson will be captains for the team Majesticks GC. Martin Kaymer will head Cleeks GC, and Brooks Koepka will head Smash GC, which finished third last year. However, their past performance did not matter as much as the description of these teams affected the fans.

Greg Norman’s LIV Golf is busy in preparations for the new season of their games. In less than a few weeks, we will see the LIV defectors owning the golf course globally with their skills. Their first appearance will be at the El Camaleon Golf Club in Mexico. According to reports, two teams have changed their names. RangeGoats GC was formerly known as Niblicks GC and will be headed by Bubba Watson. The second team is Ripper GC, formerly known as Punch GC, now headed by Cameron Smith.

And this post by Porter was no exception. Fand did not like it because it was written like a child. LIV did not put the effort into marketing. As a result, the team description was trolled. One user pointed fingers for taking the help of AI to write the copies. The golf writer is taking things to a new level. Few fans questioned the authenticity of the teams, given their descriptions. It is true that fans always find a way to troll whatever they find id funny online, and they do it again.
