John Daly reveals how his son loves different sports

Long John and his son appeared on the scenes together at the PNC Championship. The duo even managed to pick up a strong win at the 2021 PNC Championship, beating Tiger and Charlie Axel Woods. Moreover, golf is a sport that has been passed from one generation to another, from John to little John. However, did you know that Daly’s son even plays other sports other than golf?

John spoke about the whopping amount of sports that little John plays apart from golf in an interview back in 2013. He spoke about his son’s liking for other sports with Golfing World in a pretty fantastic interview.

Long John revealed his son’s love for four other sports after being asked if little John is going to turn into his dad. Daly answered, “I just love that. He loves all the sports. I mean, he plays American football. He loves to play football…soccer, he plays golf, a lot of golf.

He added, “He plays baseball and basketball. So you know it’s great that you have because kids now are sitting on computers and playing Xbox which slow John does but most of the time during the day he’s out playing sports. It’s great.” It is so amazing to see how little John loves to try different sports and just not stick to golf. Who knows maybe he ends up playing a sport other than golf.

John and his son at the 2021 PNC Championship

The Team Daly demolished the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, the 2021 PNC Championship host. Moreover, the duo emphatically won the event with an overall score of 27-under-par. As a result, they won over team Woods by a comfortable two-shot advantage. Daly and his son carded a final round of 15-under-par, 57 in the final round of the event to clinch the title at Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.

Team Woods settled for a runner-up finish at the solo second position. Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods finished the event with an overall score of 25-under-par and came just two strokes short of the leaders. Moreover, they too carded a fiery final round of 15-under-par, 57 to finish as the runner-ups.
