‘Did U Get Hacked’: Paige Spiranac Admits Her ‘Disgustingly Good’ New Year’s Resolution, Leaving the Golf World in Frenzy

Paige Spiranac has a New Year’s Resolution, and it’s not gaining 5 million followers on Instagram. Golf Mommy wants to get better at the sport she loves and improve her handicap. She has even set an ambitious target of +4 by the end of 2024. 

In case you forgot, the celebrity influencer was a professional golfer at one point in her career. In fact, as an amateur, she won the All-Mountain West Conference twice. Moreover, as a pro, Spiranac made her debut at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic in 2015. Her maiden career victory came the next year at the Cactus Tour. Once again, the golfer in her has reignited the passion, and fans are no doubt loving it.

Paige Spiranac has an ambitious goal for 2024

Paige Spiranac wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) profile that she wants to get “disgustingly good at golf”. Good as in real good—better than how she plays at home in simulation. So, expect her to see more on the greens next year, than in her cozy room. 

Notably, as a pro, Spiranac has played in the Ladies European Tour. The former pro teed up at the Ladies Scottish Open, where she finished in the 58th position. However, she couldn’t qualify for the LPGA Tour. In 2016, the 30-year-old played her last professional game, the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic, but failed to make the cut.

She went almost broke and had to quit golf. But social media offered the opportunity to blend her love for the game with an opportunity to earn money. Eventually, social media became a full-time job for her. But now she feels it’s time to blow the cobwebs out and hone her golfing skills.

If Spiranac decides to follow this through, it would be a unique experience for her fans. The golfer-turned-influencer frequently posts golf videos for amateur and scratch golfers. Undoubtedly fans were excited about her new journey.

Spiranac’s fans want more of it

Samantha Marks, Co-host of the podcast, Playing a Round with Paige Spiranac, jokingly asked if her account was hacked. We believe not, because Spiranac was quick to reply, that in this new year, she will appear in a new avatar.

Some fans were curious about her current handicap and her target. One fan asked if the goal is to reach +5. But Spiranac, being a scratch golfer now, wants to achieve a +4 handicap.

Another fan took a subtle jab at the PGA Tour saying that given her popularity, Paige Spiranac, could easily steal the PIP bonus. Players Impact Program (PIP), financially rewards the golfers who have made the most impact on the Tour’s popularity. This year, Rory McIlroy, bagged $15 million as the most impactful player. 

One fan made a wild guess about how long it might take her to be on the Tour. We are not sure if Paige Spiranac has that goal, but this fan believes she can very easily do that.

Spiranac’s fans were excited to get an update on her progress. This fan wanted her to post her rounds on her social media handles. 

One of her fans had some insightful advice for the Diva and suggested she focus on enhancing her short game to quickly improve the handicap score.

It seems Paige Spiranac has decided to outplay her competitors in the social media sphere. If she can improve her handicap, it would definitely put her miles ahead in the influencing game.
